Tong Fuk Buffalo Field - Pitch Improvement Plan

Dear all

 

We want to extend the playing area on the Tong Fuk Buffalo Field to give our increasing number of mini members more space to play on Sundays.   If we remove some of the shrubs and weeds from the sidelines, we can create larger pitches. 

 

The shrubs have to be uprooted rather than cut down to avoid remnants of any stalks that may be painful if anyone falls on them.  The roots are quite shallow and easy to uproot. 

 

Can you help?

 

There are a lot of shrubs, so we are looking for a group of hardy volunteers to make a real impact.  Please come to the Buffalo Field this Saturday afternoon from 3pm, with or without your children,  and help us clear a good additional area ready for Sunday.  Bring gloves if you have them.  

 

Just turn up on Saturday and thank you for helping to create a better playing environment for the South Lantau Buffaloes.
